A Dose of the Philippines in Saveur Magazine

While scanning my copy of this month’s Saveur magazine, I chanced upon a seemingly familiar item: Datu Puti Coconut Vinegar. It seems that Saveur magazine is doing its 100 favorites and at No. 97 is this humble vinegar from the Philippines.

Why Bringing Back the Death Penalty Is Not the Solution
After the “Alabang Boys” mess, calls are in for heavier penalties for drug pushing. Some legislators are pushing to bring back the death penalty for drug cases. They say that heavier penalties and strict implementation of the law will discourage drug syndicates. This is a bunch of crap, in my opinion
